Who We Are

Mezie and Agnes Foundation, established and led by High Chief and Chief (Mrs) Daniel Chimezie Okeke PhD, is a philanthropic entity dedicated to giving back to society and fostering positive change in the lives of individuals in Abia State and beyond. The foundation's mission is to address developmental gaps and various needs of the populace, including infrastructure, skills development, digital literacy, empowerment of youth and women, job creation, and poverty alleviation.

Our endeavors align with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 1 (Poverty Eradication), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Economic Growth and Decent Work), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).

Mezie and Agnes Foundation is dedicated to advancing education and empowering youth in Abia State and beyond. Our initiatives encompass covering WAEC, JAMB and tuition fees for eligible students, renovating schools, churches, and roads, installing solar street lights, and organizing Youth Empowerment Programme, providing 2000 youths with online masterclasses in logical thinking, mind mapping, goal-setting, General empowerment and Job Creation

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Mezie and Agnes Foundation demonstrated its commitment to society by offering relief and donations to mitigate associated hardships. These contributions included distributing 1000 bags of rice and protective equipment to communities in Abia state and beyond.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to continually making substantial contributions to judiciary reconstruction, infrastructure provision, and youth empowerment. Our aim is to positively impact as many children, youth, women, and men as possible, enabling them to become valuable contributors to their communities and leaving a lasting legacy of philanthropy.
